Set in a mythical New Zealand town called Paua Point the show follows the misadventures of the town's weird and wonderful inhabitants. The town provides the platform for a host of sketches featuring distinctive characters (we kind of already know) who strut their stuff in an intertwined story line that grows by the week.

Roy is the alcoholic local town pastor who sounds like a racing commentator.
Forced out of a nearby town he used to live in, Skip has now moved to Paua Point where he has begun terrorizing the locals with his unique, no scruples sales techniques. His catchphrase is "Gidday Maaaaaaaate".
Shirley is a 'manly' looking female dog walker who can’t be arsed walking her clients dogs.
Horse is the heroic, gay captain of the Paua Point rugby team. He has deep affections for the team's first five eighths, 'Southern Man'.
Paul is the inept, nasal-twanged local cop who would rather search the internet for 'porn' on his laptop than solve crimes. His partner on the 'beat' is Siasi - a textbook cop with a short fuse.
